I believe using CTRL+T in games is also a shortcut to switch 3D mode on and off, but can cause slowdowns during the driver toggle. Perhaps purchase NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses, if you have it running in 3D Mode? Else go into the Nvidia control panel, and uncheck 'Stereoscopic 3D'.
